At McGill Trail Fabrication (MTF), every project begins with a shared vision. For our private build in Calistoga, California, we worked closely with the client to fully understand their dream before breaking ground. The process started with an on-site consultation, where our design team collaborated with the property owner to discuss their goals, followed by a detailed inspection of the land to assess its potential.
For this project, we developed a downhill blue flow trail designed specifically for intermediate riders. This trail featured a smooth, progressive riding surface with well-placed rollers, bumps, and berms. The design ensured a predictable, fluid riding experience, allowing riders to maintain rhythm and flow throughout their descent.
In addition to the flow trail, MTF constructed a multi-use hiking and biking path. This trail seamlessly blended into the natural terrain, incorporating native rocks and landscapes to guide users toward stunning overlooks and scenic vistas. This section of the project offered a more leisurely route, immersing riders and hikers in the area's breathtaking natural beauty.
