Head to Head Racing

Dual Slalom Tracks Defined

As the forefront of nationwide bike trail design, McGill Trail Fabrication (MTF), headquartered in picturesque Colorado, elevates the thrill of mountain biking with its expertise in crafting exhilarating Dual Slalom Tracks. Dual Slalom tracks add a dynamic and competitive edge to the biking experience, capturing the essence of speed, skill, and excitement all in one track.

Dual Slalom Bike Trail Design - McGill Trails

A Dual Slalom Track transforms the descent down a slope into a high-stakes race, featuring two almost identical tracks side by side. The courses, typically short in length, create an intense burst of adrenaline, with each run lasting anywhere from 30 seconds to over a minute. Packed with exciting features like tabletop jumps, doubles, and bermed turns, these playground tracks are for riders seeking heart-pounding action.

Dual Slalom Track Racing

The dual aspect of the track adds an intriguing competitive element. Riders race simultaneously on parallel tracks, and both times are recorded. After the first round, they switch tracks for another run. The combined times are then tallied, and the slowest rider is eliminated. This elimination process continues until only two riders are left to compete in the final round of the race.

Providing spectators with an action-packed spectacle to see, there's no better way to take in the ambiance of mountain bike racing than to watch an organized dual slalom race.  With a keen understanding of the mountain biking culture and knowing what it takes to build a great competitive racetrack, McGill's Dual Slalom Tracks contribute to the sport by striving to provide an unforgettable experience for riders and enthusiasts alike.
